Former President Jacob Zuma and one of his closest allies, Carl Niehaus, had a reunion day yesterday.Carl drove to Neuhaus to visit his old man and also to get some political advice and guidance. When talking about Carl Niehaus, he is one of the people who stood by Zuma’s side during the hardest time of his life. During Zuma’s arrest, Niehaus also got arrested because he was one of the people who were going up and down fighting for his release. He was arrested for instigating violence as he was caught in a mob of people who were protesting calling for Zuma’s release.
Niehaus has shown his loyalty to Zuma in so many ways. These two had a great time yesterday. You could see in the photos that they were all happy to see one another. After his visit, Niehaus posted photos of them together with the caption that he had a great time and he learned so much from Zuma. He spoke so many good things about the former president, Jacob Zuma.
Throughout his visit, he met with comrade Gumede and other MKMVA soldiers. He posted their photos and said that those soldiers have been staying at Nkandla for over a year now, protecting former president Zuma. People were not aware of this. They were shocked to hear that there were soldiers who stayed at Nkandla. Some even went to ask what he was being protected from that needed soldiers.
This simply means that Zuma still has a lot of money to feed his family, pay Nkandla workers and also pay these soldiers. But not so long ago, he was begging for donations on social media, asking for money to pay his legal fees. It is a little bit confusing. I suspect that those donations were just another way of laundering money. Why did he beg while he still had money to feed and pay soldiers?
