South African musician Sjava raised many eyebrows when he finally opened up about his isithembu (polygamous) lifestyle in a recent post on social media.
Sjava, real name Jabulani Hadebe, proudly posted 3 women with a caption: “Amakhosikazi Ami ngokulandelana❤️❤️❤️” which means here are my wives in succession.

He also tagged them on his Instagram page on their now private accounts:
For some time, he has been keeping a low profile after being named in a rape scandal over two years ago and has kept his personal life private.
Sjava’s first wife only became known to the public after he dated artist Lady Zamar, who alleged she didn’t know he was married while they were in a relationship for several months.

Lady Zamar opened a case of rape against him in November 2019. She claimed she was raped after the two performed at the Royal Heritage Festival in Limpopo in 2017.
The case was thrown out by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in 2020 on the grounds that the facts or evidence they had gathered did not support a successful prosecution of the alleged rape.
