Teachers serve as role models for pupils because parents entrust them with the responsibility of not only imparting knowledge but also soft skills to their children in order to prepare them for life outside the classroom. The act of a teacher engaging in behaviors that provide a poor example for students is considered wrong under several circumstances.
Speaking of free theater, teachers from an unidentified secondary school in Kisii County were treated to a performance after two of their colleagues got into a fight over a piece of meat in the Staffroom, according to reports
Madam Bety and Madam Jude are the two instructors who, according to reports, had a disagreement over whether or not to offer lunch to their students.
Madam Jude was dissatisfied with the manner in which Madam Jude was distributing meat portions in the staffroom.
“She was not being fair at all in the method in which she was distributing the pieces of meat, and I felt compelled to inquire”, madam Jude stated in response to her question.
Jude went on to say that she had inquired as to why certain plates were receiving a large number of pieces while others received a little number.
Her words appeared to irritate her coworker, who suddenly snatched her by the long hair and threatened to beat her to a pulp.
“Do you believe I am afraid of you?, “This flesh does not belong to you,” Madam Bety replied, her face flushed with rage. Observers, including teachers and students, who were peering in through the window to see what was going on were drawn to the scene.
While other teachers were enjoying the free drama while having their lunch, the two became involved in a violent altercation in less than a second.
Both were separated by the teacher on duty, as well as by a few other teachers who talked to them and helped to calm the situation. The two teachers have been at odds over one of the male teachers at the school, as they are both interested in dating him at the same time.
The two students are currently awaiting disciplinary action from the school administration.
