Musicians, Prince Kaybee and Lady Zamar, have responded to DJ Maphorisa calling them out for allegedly not owning the masters to their own songs during his lengthy Twitter rant.
DJ Maphorisa names artists who allegedly do not own their masters in Twitter rant
On Monday, 24 February 2020, DJ Maphorisa was confronted by social media users for his lack of humility and enabling Kabza De Small’s alleged alcohol problem. DJ Maphorisa then posted a series of tweets defending himself. In one of his tweets, attempting to show his contribution to the South African music industry, he called out popular artists that allegedly do not own the masters of their songs, including Lady Zamar and Prince Kaybee. Both artists have since responded to DJ Maphorisa’s post.
