Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they have parted ways with some of their players this week, as previously reported.
It was previously reported by Soccer Laduma that a number of Amakhosi players could be facing an early exit from Naturena as they had become surplus to requirements under Ernst Middendorp, with Gustavo Paez, Khotso Malope and Hendrick Ekstein all linked with a possible early departure.
Player Updates
Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm the termination of contract on mutual consent of midfielder Hendrick Ekstein. The midfielder was promoted from Chiefs Development in October 2013

Paez and Ekstein were due to see their contracts at the club expire at the end of the season anyway, and it became apparent recently that neither of them were likely to extend their stay with the Glamour Boys. Now it has been confirmed that the duo, as well as Malope, have had their contracts terminated with immediate effect.
Player Updates
The Club and striker Gustavo Paez have parted ways. Paez joined Kaizer Chiefs in January 2017 and will not have his contract renewed.
