In a candid FARPost interview, veteran coach Stuart Baxter explained how blurred roles and meddling from management derailed his 2021-2022 tenure at Kaizer Chiefs, unlike his successful 2012-2015 spell that brought two league titles, a Nedbank Cup, and an MTN8.

He described being told which players to sign, select, and even tactical setups, a pattern he says doomed coaches like Gavin Hunt and Arthur Zwane too. With Chiefs sixth in the Betway Premiership, 17 points behind leaders and reeling from four straight losses, fans are divided—some demand overhaul, others question Baxter’s record since leaving.
