In many African societies, when a man dies and leaves his wife (or wives) behind, culture demands that the widow (or widows) undergoes certain traditional mourning rituals before and after the burial of her deceased spouse, after which she can be cleansed of the ghost spirit of her late husband. Therefore, the main essence of the rites is to break the spiritual relationship between the deceased husband and the surviving wife (or wives).

Last night, Babes Wodumo comes under fire with many people on social media following them spotting her performing on the cross over Gig.

Babes was performing last night and her performance shocked many people. What made Babes Wodumo to have such a talent after her husband’s death. It was her first performance and it was outstanding. This means that she is back again in the game.

Some believes that it was too early for her to be start performing following that her husband got buried on Friday 30th of December 2022.

Today she is in the other line up and she will be performing again.

Comments:

“The are five stages of grieves. She need to heal first and she still in denial, after gigs here reality comes..”.

“Why women like to promote nonsense? Try inventing something useful once in your life time that’s positive to society and traditions”.

“I believe if you lose a person you really loved with all your heart and soul you will not even have strength to 1) dance at his memorial 2) perform on stage a day after his burial 🪦 It’s a little too weird for me. “
