Braamfontein off duty Metro cop & SAPS Police officer. A metro cop was shot & killed by a Police Officer after an altercation in the parking lot of a nightclub in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. No one has been arrested yet.
Wherever people come together for different reasons, sometimes things get out of hand and the people find themselves having some serious altercations because they happened to see things from different perspectives and none of them is willing to agree with the other or give up.
In some instances, the altercation goes as far as getting out of hand and turn into a fight which could have been avoided if one of the two just walked away, but mostly they would refuse to walk away since they would feel belittled so they rather fight and hurt or injured the other person to feel better, but mostly such incidents do not end well just like what happened in Braamfontein in the early hours of Tuesday morning when a man was shot and killed after an altercation.
A video emerged on social media where people were clearly having an altercation over an issue which remains unknown, but whatever the case was, it ended in tears for one guy who was flaunting his gun while they were arguing, he was trying to find his way to the other guy who was in the car, but his way was blocked by the other guy who was trying to defuse the situation, but it did not end well.
On the video, a man wearing a white hoodie was seen trying to get to the other person who clearly ran into his car to try and avoid fighting, but the guy pulled out his firearm and wanted to continue with the fight, however, he could not get through and kept pushing and pushing and pushed too far, it got to a point where the video lost focus after a couple of shots were fired and people around had to duck and dive as they fear for their lives.
When the person behind the camera was able to focus again, the man wearing a white hoddie was on th ground with gunshot wounds on his chest, he was gunned down and unfortunately it is not clear who shot him, it is reported that the two guys who were fighting are both the officers of the law, one is believed to be a member of the South African Police Services and the other is the member of the Johannesburg Metro Police Department.
Social media is not happy with the person who was filming the incident, this is after the person took a dive when shots were fired, surely was scared of getting shot and could not film, it is not clear who shot the guy.
