Dali Mpofu is a South African lawyer and politician who is the former National Chairperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and has been serving on the party’s central command team since 2013.
At first, Dali Mpofu was a strong member of the ruling party, African National Congress (ANC) together with his wife Mpumi Mpofu.
Unfortunately when Dali Mpofu left Africa National Congress to join Economic Freedom Fighters during its formation in 2012, His wife didn’t move with him. She remained in African National Congress member and in good standing.
Advocate Dali Mpofu shared that his wife will never join EFF, He said she remained a staunch member of the ruling party, saying he knows he’ll never be able to convert her.
Speaking on channel 702 or rather radio 702, Dali Mpofu “She’s a staunch ANC supporter. If there’s one person I know I’ll never be able to recruit, it is her,”
This does happen in many families were they support different teams, or attend different churches but it’s not dominant in political parties.
Although his wish was to see himself serving EFF together with his wife, he had accepted that it will never happen.
