Yesterday night on Sizok’thola, Xolani Khumalo and his crew busted a newly wedded Nigerian drug dealer. According to the suspect, he just got married to a South African lady and has every right to be in South Africa. Xolani and his crew have intensified their actions against Nigerian drug dealers ever since they were attacked during last week.
According to reports, North West SAPS is reportedly investigating a case of malicious property damage following the attack on Moja Love’s team. The incident occurred during the filming of an arrest for the popular crime show Sizokthola in Rustenburg. Witnessing the events unfold was disheartening. Zimoja, one of the show’s presenters, shared that upon arriving at Coconut Lounge and discovering the suspect, excitement filled the air as everyone was eager to meet the host. However, the crew was unexpectedly blocked by the venue’s management and security, leaving them unable to approach the suspect or exit the lounge.
Although some members of the team managed to leave on foot, others found themselves trapped inside when the security sealed the gate. Fortunately, those outside the lounge took action and successfully unlocked the gate, liberating their colleagues. The entire situation was disheartening to witness, as it became evident that criminals were being shielded. Despite being a drug dealer responsible for the deaths of young people, the individual received protection from both the management and security personnel.
The incident highlights a concerning reality where criminals seem to enjoy certain levels of protection, leading to a feeling of helplessness among those trying to bring them to justice. The crew’s dedication to their work and their commitment to exposing criminal activities should have been met with support and assistance, rather than hindered by those responsible for maintaining security.
Efforts must be made to address these issues and ensure that the pursuit of justice is not compromised. The safety of those involved in exposing criminal activities should be a priority, with appropriate measures put in place to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
