Pro-democracy leader in Swaziland, Thabo Kunene, has been imprisoned in the mansion of a wealthy South African businessman.
On Wednesday afternoon, an ex-cop tried to steal an AK-47 from Kunene’s store, according to police reports.
The armed entrepreneur operates a money transfer and security service.
After convincing my brother to join the Solidarity Forces, he brought him here on the pretence that we kept weapons.The South African businessman continued, “The security is so tight that he wasn’t able to get the AK-47.”

The Commander of the Solidarity Forces has been caught on camera admitting that his team killed fourteen (14) people in eSwatini, including four (4) police officers, and this has been viewed by the Swaziland News.
The businessman continued, saying that he had attempted to smuggle Kunene into eSwatini through an unofficial border by getting in touch with persons close to King Mswati.He pretended at first to be someone who needed the journalist’s advice on how to handle Kunene and his friend.
