Yesterday, the Cosatu as always hosted its workers day Celebration which is an international day.
As expected, the Tripartite Alliance partners do have time to share their messages of supports. The African National Congress did that and the South African Communist Party also did that.
The Tripartite Alliance is an alliance between the African National Congress, the Congress of South African Trade Unions and the South African Communist Party. The ANC holds a majority in the South African parliament, while the SACP and COSATU have not contested any democratic election in South Africa.
Live on stage, the South African Communist Party General Secretary, Solly Mapaila, accusing POPCRU Second Deputy President whom was Program Director, Amelia Monyatso, of rushing him. Audience not that engaged.
Solly Mapaila told Program Director that she mustn’t rush him even though she doesn’t like what he’s saying and she must sit down as he continues with his address.
