A sigh of relief is breath by many people across South Africa as the Eskom CEO, Andre De Ruyter has resigned from his position.
After mounting pressure and growing calls for De Ruyter to resign, finally he has heeded to the call and accepted the fate to resign.
He has been labelled as a failure and a worse CEO Eskom has ever had as they slammed him for having no clue on managing the power utility.
It has been revealed that he has no qualifications on engineering hence his failure to manage the power utility and his lack of managing skills.
It is for the first time in South Africa since the inception of loadshedding that stage 5 and 6 is being experienced, adding to pain on South Africans.
When Andre took over, he promised to end loadshedding but he has delivered none of that, infact the situation has got from bad to worse.
This December has been the worst ever as in the past week and current one, we are experiencing stage 5 and 6 loadshedding while Eskom keeps on blaming sabotage and Cyril Ramaphosa also adding on being clueless. Ramaphosa has been quoted for saying that it will take lot of time, even years to end loadshedding.
