Zinhle Mabena is known and loved for her role as ‘Sile’ in the hit soap opera ‘Ishibaya’. However, she got into trouble with the authorities and she started making headlines for her for the wrong reasons.
Police searched for her for days before she was arrested but could not find her. In a statement, police spokeswoman Kay Makhubele said that Ngwenya and her husband’s bodyguards said she had arrested a suspect in the murder of
She was arrested at the Centurion apartment where she lives. Mabena then appears at the Pretorian magistrate’s court for her questioning. She was charged with the attempted murder of her businessman husband, Robert Ngwenya. Her sources say the case has been under investigation for some time and her phone records link her to her plight. She was arrested on Feb. 16.
Incidences leading to Zinhle Mabena’s arrest
Robert Ngwenya and her Zinhle had been married for four years, but when a storm hit their marriage, the couple decided to go their separate ways and filed for divorce. So after the event, the big question is whether Zinhle thinks getting rid of her husband once and for all is a bad thing.
On January 28, 2021, Ngwenya was ambushed by three of his men at a gas station and set fire to his car. He travels with a bodyguard. The next day, one of his bodyguards was shot dead in the hospital. Ngwenya escaped unharmed.
Mabena is therefore arrested for conspiracy to murder her. This isn’t her first incident. The City Press reported in January that Mabena was involved in a car accident that left the Vooslorus taxi driver mentally ill.
His family is reportedly seeking justice. The incident occurred while Mabena was driving her ex-husband’s luxury Porsche Panamera. It is said that she was travelling at high speed when she collided with the red Corolla.

The Pretoria District Court in Tshwane ruled that Mabena’s arrest was unlawful. Her prosecutor dropped her case and acquitted her of all charges.
After her arrest, Jingle posted her official statement on social media. They support and believe in my innocence despite the vile and blatant lies being spread against me,” she said.
Her attorney team claimed her husband was behind her arrest. Ngwenya declined to comment and referred all questions to her attorney, Victor Nkwashu.
