There was a point were the Radical Economic Transformation was 100 percent in unity. In 2017, it was seen as a serious threat to the C17 and friends of the president of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa.
The Radical Economic Transformation (RET) of The African National Congress is the faction which is led by the former of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress president Jacob Zuma, also the suspended secretary general African National Congress Ace Magashule, former minister of Health Dr Zwelithini Mkhize, Former North West premier Supra Mahumapelo, Minister of tourism Lindiwe Sisulu and other many more.
During the last African National Congress election on 2017, the African National Congress Radical Economic Transformation was fully behind Dr Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini for the position of African National Congress President, with no one from ANC RET contesting her.
Unfortunately this time around on the upcoming party elective conference, the African National Congress Radical Economic Transformation seems to be divided. There are already four slates from ANC Radical Economic Transformation, with different preferred presidential Candidates.
First one is former ANC treasurer-general Dr Zwelithini Mkhize as president, secon one is suspended secretary general Ace Magashule, on the third one is current deputy president of the African National Congress and republic of South Africa David Mabuza president and lastly is for Dr Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini Zuma as president.
