The leader of operation dudula who is often known for being vocal about issues of national importance has come out to clarify and declare his stand with respect to the planned “National Shutdown” expected to take place in the country tomorrow.
You would recall that some fliers started circulating on different social media platforms few days ago calling on South Africans to massively support a national shutdown day.
Many claimed it was the Economic Freedom Fighters Party ably led by Julius Malema was organizing the demonstration.
However, Mr Nhlanhla Lux has declared his stance as regards the demonstration. In video he posted on his Twitter handle Lux said that he saw roads being blocked and vehicles stopped on the highways by the angry demonstrators.
He revealed that he is not against the national shutdown because he doesn’t know who is organizing the shutdown. But operation dudula cannot go for a protest they don’t understand what it really stand for.
He cited an example with the mode of conduct in Operation dudula movement. He said that “in operation dudula the command is clear, we cannot go for closing of illegal shops and inspection operation without the police”.
