Julius Malema is known as one of the politicians who can’t hold secrets any longer and that he is full of surprises changing from one narrative to another like a chameleon, a factor which led some analysts to describe him as a “flip-flopper”.
Malema the last time he addressed members of the media, he sang praises to Cyril Ramaphosa, arguing that he had him on speed dial, signalling how close he is to him than he was with former president Jacob Zuma.
On Wednesday, the red beret leader however seem to have a change of heart, as he bashed Cyril Ramaphosa accusing him of destroying ANC from where it was when he took over as the president.
“The ANC is at lowest from where he found it. When he took over ANC it was at 63% and he has now put it at 57%. ANC is at its weakest, but defenders of Cyril will make you think he has improved the ANC’s performance,” said Malema.
He further revealed that the only thing Cyril Ramaphosa has succeeded in doing is that he has purged all his opponents from the ANC while he fails to pay the party’s workers.
“He can’t pay salaries something we have never heard of in the era of those who came before him. Actually, when we were in the ANC, our salaries were increased by Matthew Phosa under Zuma.
As a president of the Youth League I was earning R20 000 and we were given R49 000. An increase from R20 000 by Matthew Phosa under Zuma’s leadership. There has never been a time when we never got our salaries, but under Ramaphosa the imaginary so-called president, the ANC is not paying salaries,” said Malema.
Without mincing his words, the red beret leader accuses president Cyril Ramaphosa of squandering pensioners money.
