AmaZulu are really showing their intentions of challenging for honours in the upcoming season with some quality signings.
Usuthu have captured two left footed and versatile players in Philani Zulu and Tercious Malepe.
Zulu, who was offloaded by Kaizer Chiefs, is expected to fill the void left by Sibusiso Mabiliso, who has since joined Chiefs.
Malepe recently left Ukrainian side FC Minaj and he was part of the South African U23 side that represented the country at the Tokyo Olympics.
This publication has been reliably informed that the two will be unveiled on Thursday, when Usuthu announce their new kit and new players.
The 24-year-old Malepe can either play at left centre back, in the midfield or as a left back and he has previously played for Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Chippa United.
Meanwhile, Zulu (27) has played as a left back and left winger for Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs.
