The video is like a ‘Fast and Furious’ movie scene gone wrong as an Audi A4 crashed into a Metro Police vehicle, resisted arrest, and attempted to escape.
Cameras were out and commuters were shocked when a car crashed into a Metro Police vehicle at the Nyanga intersection in Cape Town.
The driver had allegedly resisted arrest and this led to the police using force.
As the driver continued to resist arrest, the police started to take drastic action by shooting the car’s tyres in an attempt to prevent the individual from driving away.
Although they did successfully deflate the tyres, this did not stop the Audi driver from putting the pedal to the metal and making his escape.
