One person was crushed to death in a veranda collapse in Durban
Paramedics are on the scene on Yusuf Bauden street in Durban where a veranda has collapsed onto the pavement causing the death of one person.
Paramedics have treated five patients at the scene. Three patients were examined and found to be in a stable condition and were not required to be transported to the hospital.

Robert McKensie of KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Service confirmed that one person died, five people were transported via ambulance to hospital for treatment and three other people, who were trapped in the building weren’t injured.
