Altron Nexus is currently holding two major government projects Gauteng Broadband Network and Limpopo Broadband Network.
In 2019 According to a report by City Press, the suspected corruption is related to a R585-million broadband connection tender, which Mathiba said was awarded in contravention with the State Information Technology Agency (Sita) Act. The tender, to roll out broadband infrastructure in Limpopo, was advertised and awarded to Altron Nexus in 2017.
