“Jacob Zuma Party Must Vacate My Building” The Landlord Sends Another Scathing Letter To Khumalo

The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party is facing fresh scrutiny after reports emerged that its provincial offices in Polokwane could be at risk of eviction over alleged unpaid rent.

According to reports, the landlord has issued a formal notice to the party’s national administrator, Thabisile Khumalo, demanding that outstanding rental payments be settled or the premises be vacated. The letter reportedly warns that failure to honour the lease agreement could result in legal action.

The Polokwane property serves as the MK Party’s provincial headquarters in Limpopo, making it a key base for coordinating party activities, engaging members, and managing political programmes. Any disruption could affect the party’s operations in the province.

Although the exact amount allegedly owed has not been made public, the landlord reportedly expressed frustration over the continued occupation of the premises without payment, saying the situation could no longer continue.

At the time of writing, neither the MK Party nor Thabisile Khumalo had publicly responded to the allegations or confirmed whether efforts were underway to settle the dispute.

Under South African law, landlords can seek legal remedies when tenants fail to meet the terms of a lease agreement. If no settlement is reached, the dispute could end up in court, where an eviction order may be requested.

The reported dispute has sparked discussion on social media, with many closely watching to see whether the party will resolve the matter or face the possibility of losing its Limpopo headquarters.
