Award-winning actress, media personality and businesswoman Thando Thabethe has reached a new milestone with her underwear and shapewear brand, Thabooty.
The brand, inspired by the nickname she earned while working as a traffic reporter on the Roger Goode Show, launched in June 2017. It focuses on shapewear, sexy underwear and swimwear for all shapes and sizes.
In 2021, Thabethe opened her first physical store for customers who prefer to shop in person. In mid-2025, she introduced the Tha’Bhuti shapewear line for men, with actor Sandile Mahlangu modelling the stylish sleepwear.
Thabooty has now expanded further and is available on Bash, a platform trusted by many brands. The company announced that the shapewear line is now live on Bash, making it easier for customers to purchase. The brand described its products as waist snatching, smooth fitting and confidence boosting.
