Minnie Dlamini has social media talking after posting a series of striking photos on Instagram, teasing what she called the biggest weekend of sport and entertainment in South Africa.
With a caption hinting at major hosting duties, it is clear that Dlamini is not just attending but taking centre stage.
While she did not name the event directly, the timing and her hosting background strongly point to a major South African awards or sports-linked entertainment weekend. Dlamini has built a reputation as one of the country’s most trusted hosts, having previously fronted events like the South African Music Awards and high-profile entertainment showcases.
Her outfit has also drawn attention. She wore a black floor-length gown with a structured bodice featuring bold gold vertical accents. The waist is decorated with floral gold embellishments, and the dress includes a thigh-high slit. The look blends elegance with edge and has been widely praised by fans.
Within minutes of posting, followers flooded her comments with praise. Dlamini has always been a fashion-forward figure in South African entertainment, known for consistently delivering standout looks on-screen and on the red carpet.
The post is seen as a pre-event power move to build anticipation before a major appearance. By the time she steps onto that stage, the conversation has already started. If this is just the preview, the main event is expected to be even bigger.
