Broadcasting company MultiChoice has found itself at the center of controversy after podcaster Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho made offensive comments about media personality Minnie Dlamini.

During a recent episode of Podcast and Chill, MacG insinuated that Dlamini’s breakup with Dr. Brian Monaisa might be linked to her personal hygiene, making a crude remark that sparked outrage on social media. The backlash was swift, with many condemning the comments as disrespectful and misogynistic.

MultiChoice quickly responded, clarifying that the episode in question was not broadcast on any of its platforms, including Mzansi Magic and Channel O. The company emphasized that all content aired on its channels undergoes strict review to ensure compliance with South African broadcasting standards.

However, the incident has raised questions about MultiChoice’s recent partnership with MacG, leaving some to scrutinize the company’s association with the controversial podcaster. While MultiChoice has distanced itself from his remarks, the fallout continues as discussions around accountability and professionalism in media persist.
