Mbuyiseni Ndlozi Breaks Silence on Suspension, Denies Allegations of MK Party Involvement

In a revealing interview with SABC News, former Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Member of Parliament, Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, opened up about his unexpected suspension from the party, describing the process as “unconventional” and inconsistent with the EFF’s usual procedures.

According to Ndlozi, the suspension occurred roughly six weeks before the much-anticipated EFF conference, raising questions about its timing. The suspension was reportedly linked to allegations that he was part of an “infiltration strategy” orchestrated by the MK Party—a claim Ndlozi vehemently denied. “I can state categorically that I never planned to join the MK Party. I still don’t,” he firmly stated.

Ndlozi criticized the manner in which the suspension was handled, suggesting that it deviated from the party’s established code of conduct. His comments have fueled concerns about the EFF’s internal governance and how dissenting voices within the organization are managed.

The former EFF spokesperson also addressed speculation surrounding the departure of Floyd Shivambu, a senior EFF leader, from the party. Ndlozi expressed frustration with accusations that he should have reported Shivambu’s exit to the leadership. “The idea that I should have run behind his back and informed other people or the leadership suggests that I’m an informant,” he said, emphasizing his stance on transparency and personal integrity.

The interview sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. Some supporters applauded Ndlozi’s courage, while others hinted at underlying tensions within the EFF. One commenter remarked, “He has finally exposed Julius Malema,” suggesting a potential rift between Ndlozi and the party’s leader.

The controversy has intensified speculation about growing internal divisions within the EFF, with rumors of political infighting and alleged infiltration by rival factions becoming hot topics among political analysts and the public.

So far, the EFF has not issued an official response to Ndlozi’s claims. With the EFF’s upcoming conference on the horizon, all eyes are on how the party will address these allegations and whether the leadership can maintain unity during this turbulent period.

For now, Ndlozi’s revelations have left the public waiting for answers, while the EFF’s internal dynamics remain under the spotlight.
