EFF Denies Claims of Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s Exclusion from Elective Conference

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini has categorically denied rumors that Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, a prominent Member of Parliament, has been barred from attending the party’s elective conference in December. Addressing the speculation, Dlamini assured the public and party members that Ndlozi remains fully eligible to participate in the crucial gathering.

Reports of a potential rift within the EFF leadership and suggestions of Ndlozi’s exclusion had sparked concern and debate both within the party and among its supporters. However, in an official statement, Dlamini labeled these claims as baseless and emphasized the party’s commitment to fostering unity ahead of the conference.

“All members of the EFF, including Dr. Ndlozi, are welcome and entitled to attend the upcoming conference,” Dlamini said, dismissing the rumors as unfounded. His remarks highlighted the importance of rejecting external narratives that could disrupt the party’s internal cohesion during this pivotal period.

Dr. Ndlozi, renowned for his articulate and passionate advocacy within the EFF, has been central to shaping the party’s political messaging. While speculation about tensions between him and other leaders has persisted, Dlamini’s firm denial suggests that these alleged issues will not interfere with his role or participation in the conference.

The elective conference is a critical moment for the EFF, as it will determine leadership positions and chart the party’s strategy ahead of the 2024 general elections. As the EFF prepares for this significant event, Dlamini’s reassurances aim to dispel any perception of discord and reaffirm the party’s focus on its broader mission of economic freedom and systemic transformation.

By addressing the rumors head-on, Dlamini seeks to present a unified front, demonstrating that the EFF remains undeterred by attempts to sow division. The party’s upcoming conference will be closely watched as it sets the stage for its future direction and continued political influence.
