Chidimma Adetshina, a 23-year-old law student who withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant due to background check backlash, has claimed the title of Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
After leaving South Africa, Adetshina returned to Nigeria and entered the competition, ultimately winning the coveted crown.
Guy Murray-Bruce, President of the Silverbird Group, the organisers of the pageant, announced her victory at the grand finale on Saturday.
Adetshina represented Taraba State in what proved to be a highly competitive event.
