On Monday, a massive hailstorm hit various parts of Johannesburg, causing damage to buildings, vehicles, and other structures. The hailstones were reported to be the size of golf balls, creating a dangerous situation for motorists and pedestrians. However, Johannesburg emergency services confirmed that no injuries have been reported as a result of the storm.

The affected areas included Pualshof Rosebank, Sandton, Marlboro, and the N1 highway. The hailstorm lasted for several hours, and the hailstones were so large that they caused significant damage to cars and other vehicles. Some buildings also suffered damage, with shattered windows and roof tiles being reported.

He also urged residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel until the storm had passed.

The hailstorm caused significant disruption to the city, with many roads and highways being closed due to the hazardous conditions. The South African Weather Service issued a severe weather warning, advising people to take precautions and stay safe during the storm.

While there were no injuries reported, the damage caused by the hailstones serves as a warning to all residents to take precautions and stay safe during severe weather events.
