Lerato Mvelase, a South African television presenter and actress from the Diepkloof neighborhood of Soweto, is well-known for playing Katlego in the drama series Home Affairs on SABC1.
She had been active in performing since she was a young child.
Additionally, she actively participated in theater plays while still in school for a number of years before deciding to seek a career in the field.
She described her childhood, saying, “I grew up in a little house with a lot of people.
Because others lacked, my cousins and I were forced to share everything and consume all of our meals. My greatest wish for a very long time was to have my own bedroom.
When Mvelase visited Madibane Lerato, she had graduated from Wits University with a degree in drama in 2002 after matriculating.
It’s interesting to note that the year after she graduated from high school, CCM1 gave her her big break as a broadcaster.
It is important to note that the multi-talented Lerato also pursues a career in singing in addition to acting and hosting. Her songs are typically soothers for the soul, and she has a thunderous voice.

After appearing in a cameo in the first season of the show in 2004, she was cast as Mbali, a young college design student.

She was nominated for the coveted Best Actress International Emmy Award as a result of her performance in the drama. Additionally, the leading lady has participated in a number of theatrical works.
