Cyril Ramaphosa’s powers have being undermined for a while, as Mashatile awaits for his ascend into presidency. ANC leadership might be waiting for Cyril Ramaphosa to step down. Are people aware of the implications for South Africa.

While a student, Mashatile began his political career as an anti-apartheid activist in Alexandra, Gauteng, alongside Obed Bapala and others.

Paul Shipokosa Mashatile was briefly Premier of Gauteng province from 2008 to 2009. Paul Mashatile, SA’s recently appointed deputy president, tied the knot last month with Humile Mjongile, the wife of his late good friend Songezo Mjongile. Paul Mashatile’s ex Gugu Nkosi tells media of her rage at finding out he’d spurned her for another woman.

Paul Mashatile presides over a modest lifestyle on paper, but a News24 investigation has revealed that he leads a charmed life – from luxury holiday homes in Knysna, Camps Bay and Fresnaye, to parties with multiple women at his beck and call.
