The new EFF member, Mzwanele Manyi is ready to hit the ground running as he serves under CIC Julius Malema. But Manyi doesn’t want any hindrances hence he is ready to make peace with any EFF member who has ever crossed him. The former ATM senior leader has made a call for all Fighters who have ever wronged him to apologize so he can unblock them. He wrote a mini letter to all Fighters, demanding they apologize.

“Dear Fighters. Today, am running an amnesty to unblock the repented. If you know any Fighter that I have blocked for calling me with a slave name, Jimmy, you must post their handles AND screenshot apologising and undertaking not to ever do that again”, Manyi said. He wants all of them to humble themselves and make peace with him so they can start on a clean slate.

We know that Julius Malema called Manyi by the name “Jimmy” in numerous occasions. This means Malema must also humble himself and apologize to Manyi now that he is an EFF member. This is going to be an interesting union. What we have noticed is that Manyi and Malema are birds of the same feather. It is said that two kings cannot rule one kingdom. Watching Manyi and Malema belonging to one party will be interesting.

Mzwanele Manyi hates the name “Jimmy” with passion. The name was given to him by his parents but as he grew, he went to home affairs to change it. He actually removed it from his ID card as it reminded him of apartheid. Manyi decided to stick to his African name and he would block everyone who called gim by the English name. Herman Mashaba once challenged Manyi, saying he has lost respect for him after he decided to drop the use of his English name.
