According to reports from media, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has admitted that whistle-blower Babita Deokaran was murdered for exposing R1 billion worth of irregular tenders issued at the Tembisa Hospital. Why should people who are working in hospitals which is meant to save lives steal and embezzle money? They are indirectly putting the life of victims at stake and contributing to the death rate in the country. This scandal should not be taken for granted because anything that is related to human life should be carefully analysed. The hospital is currently lacking good facilities, no constant supply of light, no water supply, etc.
