The president was not involved in the many scandals associated with nightly cabinet reshuffles when the former president was in office. Because of this, rumors that he had fired top South African cop Kayla Sitol a few months ago took many by surprise. He claimed he didn’t actually dismiss him, but it was a decision made by the two of them together, and he is now being asked to dismiss another minister.
Report
The National Union of Metalworkers (NUM) has reportedly asked President Cyril Ramaphosa to appoint a new Public Enterprises Minister to deal with the issue in Eskom to replace Pravin Gordan. This is the result of the National Union of Metalworkers (NUM)’s response to Gordan’s decision on Tuesday to restructure and reorganize the board of directors of the semi-state company. NUM said the process dragged on too long and called for Gordhan’s replacement. They think he should have been fired long ago. Nevertheless, the president continues to find ways to cover him up. Opinion
It is clear that the President must agree on an important course of action. He needs to heed his advice and do what is in his best interest or just watch out for his NUM and fire his PRAVIN GORDHAN. He hasn’t made many choices yet, but it looks like he won’t be using the racket that NUM has provided him with. Given the right amount of time, the country will know if the Public Enterprises Minister will be sacked.
