The latest number of COVID-19 infections appear to be on the increase.
The health department said 585 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng continues to lead with 372 new cases.
It’s followed KwaZulu Natal with 54 and the Western Cape with 40.
The positivity rate has increased to 1.7 percent while the death toll has sadly increased by 40.
