It has always been anticipated that former Mamelodi Sundowns coach’s move to Egypt where he joined giants Al Ahly will open ways for some of Masandawana players, and it has finally happened.
Reports coming from Chloorkop suggests that Gaston Sirino have put pen to paper to sign a three year deal as he joins his former coach in Egypt.
Sports journalist NUHU Adams @NuhuAdams_ took to his Twitter handle last night to announce that the Uruguayan will be re-United with Mosimane who always had a soft spot for him since he is the one who brought him to South African soil.
Al Ahly 🇪🇬 have reached an agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns 🇿🇦 over the transfer of Uruguayan forward 🇺🇾 Gaston Leandro Sirino for a fee of $3 million,” he Tweeted.
“Sirino will sign a three-year contract to reunite with his former coach Pitso Mosimane at the Misri giants,” the Tweet reads.
Pitso will be excited to have finally managed to bring Sirino into the club as he is fond of him.
