EFFSC won DUT SRC for the first time in 2018/19 elections that was lead by SASCO previouse years. SASCO lost it to EFFSC because DUT ANC was splited into two groups: Sasco and ANC youth League , that was confusing students who exactly are they voting for? The counting process started on Friday, the 31st of August 2018. The counting process was handled by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and it started very smoothly, everything was going accordingly. On Saturday, everything also went well.
