A bail application for Victor Majola, the man accused of murdering media personality DJ Warras, will be heard in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Majola, 44, is charged with the fatal shooting of Warrick Stock outside a building in the Johannesburg CBD on December 16, 2025. Charges against a second suspect, a woman arrested with him, have been dropped due to insufficient evidence.
The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed it will oppose bail, citing the seriousness of the offence. During a previous appearance, Majola alleged he was assaulted by police upon arrest, though no further details have been provided.
