An off-duty police officer has shot and killed himself near the Sikhunyani-Giyani road outside Giyani in Limpopo.
According to local police, the officer was declared dead by the emergency services personnel on the scene.
Police say the officer, who was travelling with his female partner, stopped the vehicle along the road where he shot and killed himself with his service pistol during an argument.
