South Africans were left shocked after Moja Love TV presenter Xolani Maphanga nearly drowned in a pool at his home over the weekend. According to reports, the popular presenter not only struggled to stay afloat but also sustained a broken leg after apparently falling into the pool during the incident.

A quick-thinking neighbour rushed to Maphanga’s aid, rescuing him from the water before calling for an ambulance. Emergency medical services arrived promptly and transported him to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment and monitoring.

While details about his current condition remain limited, sources close to the family confirmed that Maphanga is receiving medical care and is under close supervision. His near-drowning and injuries have sparked an outpouring of concern from fans, colleagues, and the general public, who have taken to social media to send messages of support and encouragement.

Xolani Maphanga, known for his fearless investigative reporting on the popular Moja Love show X Repo, has built a reputation as a dedicated and courageous journalist. His colleagues praised his resilience and professionalism, expressing hope for a full recovery.

Authorities have noted that no foul play is suspected, with the incident appearing to be an unfortunate accident. Fans and community members have urged the public to avoid speculation and respect Maphanga’s privacy as he recovers.

As the nation watches closely, well-wishers continue to send prayers and positive messages for the presenter, hoping he makes a swift return to both health and his work on television.
