South African Amapiano sensation Mawhoo is once again making waves on social media due to her captivating dance moves.

On December 10, 2025, a user named @MrSmegOfficial shared a video of Mawhoo performing on stage at an undisclosed event, and it quickly gained traction online, drawing significant views and likes.

This isn’t the first instance of the “Gucci” hitmaker going viral for her energetic performances. Following the release of the video, many social media users took to the comments section to express their thoughts.

One user, @ChrisEcxel102, humorously compared her to Cardi B, while @aneleflawz remarked on what it would have been like to date her during her prime.

Another comment from @maybespirit pointed out Mawhoo’s transition from OnlyFans to music, noting how quickly people seemed to overlook her past.

The reactions were mixed, with some users questioning the quality of her performances. @khokhas_dotcom suggested that while Mawhoo may have aspirations in R&B, the South African music scene has different expectations.

Additionally, @IndodaTumelo remarked on her appeal, suggesting that she resonates with a younger audience.

Mawhoo has also ventured into Maskandi music with her hit “Gucci,” which continues to capture attention at her live performances.

However, some fans have critiqued her stage presence, suggesting that she often leans too heavily into the performance aspect rather than showcasing her vocal talent.

Despite the mixed reviews, Mawhoo remains a prominent figure in the Amapiano scene, captivating audiences with her unique blend of music and performance.

Her journey reflects the evolving dynamics of the South African music industry, illustrating the challenges and triumphs artists face in navigating their careers.
