On November 18, 2025, King Malusi Zondi presented Ngizwe Mchunu with a Toyota Fortuner worth R680,000, a moment recorded in a video shared by journalist Sihle Mavuso on X (formerly Twitter).

Social media users showed their appreciation for Mchunu, pointing out that the car held a special significance. Mchunu, a former Ukhozi FM presenter and self-proclaimed president of Amahinca, stated he intends to utilize the vehicle for his traditional duties.

In Mavuso video, Inkosi Malusi Zondi handed over the car to Mchunu, who expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for the gift. According to Toyota’s South African website, a Fortuner GR Sport in Pretoria Noord, where Mchunu received the car, is priced at R679,100. Mchunu later posted a video of himself enjoying his new vehicle on his official Facebook page.

Responses on social media were mixed, with many users congratulating Mchunu while others questioned if the Toyota Fortuner was a left-hand drive model. Comments included:

Wanda Kamjoli: “That’s why he said short left , it’s not wrong.”

Thami Mthanti KaLindamkhonto: “Driving on the left?”

-Smjeey Pho Kunani: “Pain right on the same album cover.”

– Dizah Maduna: “Congratulations, my president.”
