A white BMW previously seen at the home of Katiso Molefe has resurfaced under curious circumstances this time at the Centurion residence of suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya during an official search and seizure operation on Thursday.

The vehicle, identified as belonging to Sergeant Nkosi, reportedly drew attention after being linked to a series of internal SAPS inquiries. Nkosi was said to have driven the same BMW weeks earlier while visiting Molefe’s property, a meeting that remains under internal scrutiny for reasons not yet disclosed.

Eyewitnesses at the Centurion property confirmed the car’s presence among a convoy of police vehicles conducting the operation, which sources say was related to ongoing corruption and misconduct investigations within the South African Police Service.

While authorities have not issued an official statement regarding Nkosi’s role in the operation or the reasons for his appearance at Sibiya’s residence, SAPS insiders describe the development as “not coincidental.” One senior official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the matter “touches sensitive layers of command and personal ties that could complicate ongoing probes.”

Efforts to reach both Nkosi and Sibiya for comment were unsuccessful by press time. However, the repeated appearance of the same vehicle at two high-profile locations has sparked internal debate about possible breaches of protocol and conflicts of interest.

As the investigation deepens, the spotlight intensifies on whether Sergeant Nkosi’s movements are part of official duty or something far more complex.
