Abednego Mkhatshwa has denied threatening his boss, Adv. Busisiwe Mkhwebane, saying a leaked voice note was taken out of context. Mkhatshwa claimed his words about “burning” or “killing” referred to exposing mismanagement.
Mkhwebane confirmed Mkhatshwa’s voice in the recording, lodged complaints with the party and police, and a case is under investigation at Bronkhorstspruit police station. The Nkangala regional interim detachment called for his immediate resignation.
