Award-winning singer Makhadzi has publicly accused City Press of trying to tarnish her reputation with what she calls “lies.”
In a social media post, the artist wrote:
“Dear City Press, can you also publish that I am doing a One Woman Show on 20 and 21 December at Makhuvha and Ha Rabali Stadiums. Lies must be added with the truth.”
Makhadzi criticized the publication, saying the media can no longer “damage an artist’s image by lies” and urged journalists to show respect.
She reaffirmed her focus on her upcoming year-end concerts and dismissed the negative reports as false and harmful.
