A 22-year-old woman, Jo-Ann Ntokoto Mabasa, has been arrested in connection with the death of her boyfriend in Midrand.
Police were called to a home at the Colnbrook Estate in Noordwyk on Thursday, where they found the body of 31-year-old Xichavo Ntsanwisi. The victim, who was a municipal worker, had sustained multiple stab wounds. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
According to police, a blood-stained knife was found in the kitchen. They state that Mabasa confessed to the alleged crime at the scene.
Mabasa is expected to appear in court soon to face a charge of murder. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
