Zungula Demands Action Against AfriForum and Solidarity, Accuses Them of Betraying South Africa

ATM leader Vuyo Zungula has launched a scathing attack on President Cyril Ramaphosa, condemning his silence over AfriForum and Solidarity’s alleged betrayal of South Africa. Zungula is calling for the immediate deregistration and prosecution of these organizations for treason, accusing them of undermining national sovereignty by seeking foreign intervention in domestic affairs.

AfriForum and Solidarity, which have long positioned themselves as defenders of minority rights, are now under fire for their international lobbying efforts. Zungula argues that their actions go beyond advocacy, warning that by engaging foreign powers in South African matters, these groups are effectively compromising the nation’s independence.

“Any group that bypasses internal mechanisms and calls on external forces to interfere in our country’s affairs is a direct threat to South Africa’s sovereignty,” Zungula declared. “Yet, Ramaphosa remains silent, allowing this blatant betrayal to continue unchecked.”

His strong stance has sparked heated debate. Supporters applaud his firm commitment to national integrity, while critics contend that AfriForum and Solidarity are simply exercising their democratic rights. However, Zungula insists that their actions amount to subversion and require urgent government intervention.

As tensions rise, pressure mounts on Ramaphosa to respond. Will he take decisive action against what some see as an internal threat, or will his silence fuel perceptions of weak leadership? South Africa watches closely.
