Nkabi Records has announced that Big Zulu, rapper and co-owner of the label, was involved in a car accident on Sunday night. The music label has requested fans to keep Big Zulu in their prayers as he recovers from the incident. Details of the accident have not been disclosed, but the label expressed its gratitude for the outpouring of support and well-wishes.

This news comes shortly after another Nkabi Records artist, Xowla, whose real name is Xolani Shabalala, survived a car accident earlier this month. On Monday, 13 January, Xowla was on his way to the studio in Highlands, Johannesburg, when the accident occurred. Fortunately, he sustained no serious injuries and has since continued his recovery.

The incidents have shaken the Nkabi Records family, with fans and colleagues rallying to show their support. Big Zulu, known for his impactful lyrics and towering presence in the South African music scene, is beloved by many for his contributions to the industry and his community-focused endeavors.

Nkabi Records has expressed gratitude for the prayers and messages of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of health and safety. The label is expected to share further updates on Big Zulu’s condition as they become available.

Fans across the country continue to send love and strength to both Big Zulu and Xowla, hoping for their full recovery and return to what they do best—making music that inspires.
