Big Brother Mzansi has issued a statement addressing the public backlash following the inappropriate behaviour of housemates Ash-Ley Ogley and Bonni Bee. The two women were called out on social media for their misconduct, prompting the organisers to clarify the situation.

In the statement, Big Brother (Biggie) explained that Ash-Ley and Bonni Bee violated the house’s rules, specifically Article 16, which dictates that any housemate involved in physical violence must be immediately removed from the house. This rule also covers aggression toward fellow housemates and self-inflicted harm, emphasizing the importance of maintaining respect and harmony in the house.

Biggie further highlighted that other forms of misconduct, including provocation, goading, bullying, and victimization, are also prohibited and can result in disciplinary action at Big Brother’s discretion.

As a result of their actions, Ash-Ley and Bonni Bee each received a strike for their behaviour, which was deemed malicious and insensitive toward fellow housemate Kay B. Big Brother stressed that two more strikes would lead to disqualification from the competition.

The statement concluded with a reminder that the opinions expressed by housemates are their own and do not reflect the views of Big Brother’s partners, including Mzansi Magic, LottoStar, Robertson’s Spices, and Chillers Punch.

Big Brother Mzansi reassured the public that the matter was taken seriously and thanked viewers for their vigilance in reporting the incident.
