  • Dr. Sifiso Maseko announced his resignation as Secretary General of the MK Party, effective November 4, 2024.
  • Maseko will now focus on his full-time role in the Gauteng Department of Health.
  • His resignation follows the end of his suspension amid an ongoing disciplinary investigation.

Dr. Sifiso Maseko has officially announced his resignation from his role as Secretary General of the MK Party. In a letter addressed to former President Jacob Zuma on October 29, 2024, Maseko confirmed his decision to step down from his position effective November 4, 2024.
